Let me share a few words from the core of my heart. Being a part of a Mega Event like “Nathante Virunnu” is considered to be a blessed occasion my loving Lord has gifted to me in Feb. 25, 2006. Certainly it’s a day The Lord has enlightened all my doubts through Br. Manoj Sunny which was eluding my soul. Lord’s everlasting love & care has poured upon in abundance and He blessed me, by allowing to be the part of a beautiful Skit “Daiva Sneham” Played on the occasion. During the Programme I got an awareness of Jesus Youth and the meaning in profound. A Jesus youth should be like Jesus with lightening spirit and much enthusiasm. During his testimony and his life, he has set himself as an example for the same, which persuaded me to do something for my Savior. I believe that some of you have known that, I am born and brought up in non Christian family, I am very delighted to say that this program has enriched my faith and I feel the joy, happiness and peace of the Lord.Simi AnirudhanTariq Al-Ghanim Nursing Hostel “Nathante Virunnu” it was really an incredible gathering, to happen in Kuwait. Three years back when I came first to Kuwait, I was really afraid to say that I am a Jesus Youth, specially to get permission from our campus to attend the monthly and some special day gatherings of Jesus Youth. During that time I saw a big crowd of youth Praising God, in my dream and after three years, it happened by God’s grace. It was one of the amazing gathering with 1000’s of youth from different parts of Kuwait. When I was in the program my joy knew now bounds, because I realize Gods everlasting love and I am sure this is the things he showed me in my dreams. I believe this would be one of the milestones for the JY in Kuwait. This program brought about a strong spirituality, love and caring with in our camp. Besides this, when I saw 1000’s of youth gathered together, I experienced the presence of Living God there Ligi K.A.GTC Nursing Hostel I am very thankful to Lord for blessing me to be with a very gorgeous group of God fearing & loving girls in my campus. I believe, this as a Gods gift because, whenever I had some tough & tense times, I trust, I have someone to share closely here and request for prayer support. When they asked me to get permission for a weekly prayer I felt so proud and very happy. I think this will help me to grow in Jesus day by day. Victoria Glancy Warden GTC Nursing Hostel ith lots of expectation and intention, leaving behind our near & dear ones we come across the boundaries to live in the deserted land with lots of problems and constraints is very throbbing. During the dash, most of us have fallen in some sorts of persuasion some where, somehow, in that condition heaing about the programme “Nathente Virunnu” and to be a part of it was an amazing experience for us. It was like ice piece putting in the mouth. I was so touched the two points which Manoj Chettan stated during his talk He said everyone should pray like this, “ Lord, let my life be changed or set accordingly, to show & guide others your way, Inshort, like Jesus, tyirng to pave a way to those who are in need. There we can have the real joy & fun. And the other he pointed out by quoting the words of our Pope he said, “church not needs observers she needs those who can act.” These two points have flashed in my mind & ears number of time. Taking those words as His words, I have madeup my mind to be seal with my Saviour forever. Shibu CherianAl-Fulaij February 25, 2006 is considered to be significant day which I can’t forgot from my life. It’s a day Lord has showered His blessing and graces upon me. With some limited knowledge, I came to attend the JY programme with much anticipation. Manoj Chettan illustrated the JY by incorporating the media in a simple way which enabled me to attain more on the subject. Without doubt I can say, it has cleared my abstract knowledge which enabled me decide to accept Jesus Youth as Mother Mary accepted Jesus. I thank once again my loving Lord, who has gifted, by granting me to play a role as “Mary” in the Skit “Daiva Sneham”. With the accompany of Mother Mary, All the Angels & Saints, I too join in Praising & Worshiping Him.Beemol SanthoshTariq Al-Ghanim Nursing Hostel Since 1998 Kuwait Jesus youth’s were praying for getting official appreciation in Kuwait church. After a long time we got permission from church to have a Jesus Youth gathering. So that, we had a nice Jesus youth gathering in 25th Feb’06 led by Jesus Youth International Co-ordinator Mr. Manoj Sunny. During the program mobilization, I have got an opportunity to visit most of the camps in Kuwait. After working hours to reach out maximum number of camps from nook & corner of Kuwait and inviting each one of them to the Banquet of the Lord was a big task. But with the grace of our loving lord, everything went so exciting & smoothly mainly bringing the people from far across to the cathedral church in time. Involvement in Skit / Choreography given us a different experience with Lord and also helped us to renew our fulltimership. One thing is sure, Jesus brought us here not only for job, he is having special plan for all the Jesus Youth’s in Kuwait. Now, our vision is to reach out all the camps in Kuwait, also should make sure that they all are attending holy mass once in a week, and we should have small Jesus Youth prayers groups in all over the Kuwait. After the program we already visited maximum number of camps & started small Jesus youth fellowships. Hope, this is the correct time for Kuwait Jesus Youth to perform in a special way.Mahesh Peter (4th Batch Jesus Youth fulltimer– Kollam) Deepa Mahesh (10th Batch Jesus Youth fulltimer–Manipur) Jovana Mahesh What a wonderful day it was! ‘Nathante Virunnu’ was a blessed time for the Jesus Youth in Kuwait. From the early thoughts of this program we could see the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Even though we faced some obstacles on the way, the Lord showed us the right path. In my personal life too, I faced some painful situations, my only brother died in a bike accident on 17th January 2006 and I had to leave Kuwait for 15 days. When I returned back, the enthusiastic spirit of the JY friends have captured my heart and all of a sudden, I got up into the act, without any waste of time. In those period, I was self evaluating all the incidents occurred in my life I have a strong belief that, “He is with me so nothing to fear off” in all my Ups&Downs He was in my side and I am sure nothing is happening without the knowledge of my Loving Father. When I am comparing, with my loving Father, mine is nothing. I couldn’t attend the program in full because of duty, even though I desired & imagined a lot, I accepted His will and made up my mind to fully surrender to Him for the success of the program. On that day I was getting each and every pulse of the program through mobile and I am so happy to be a part of this mega gift Lord has granted. When we visited the labour camps after the program, we heard some loving and touching experiences of our living Lord. All of participants shared that, they are enriched with the loving spirit of God and some of them even said they got the awaited promotions or obtained new jobs in their respective fields. In view of present atmosphere, focusing on Jesus, let us carryon our best efforts to support in strengthening and building their faith and fellowship respectively towards Him and continue in making them closer to the Church. Keeping this aspiration, Let’s join our hands together in Jesus to build the church with the helpless and suffering youth in the oil rich country.Pius Stanly (JY Middle East Service Team Member.) Years of waiting, months of prayer, weeks of fasting and days of dreaming come true on the day 25th February 2006; ‘Nadhante Virunnu’ was a shower of blessing from the Lord for the youths in Kuwait. Program gave me more inspiration to work for youth by leading a Jesus centered life style. By passing through the Bible we can see the Jesus selecting His disciples from the working people, and the weakest men. But after blessing of Holy Spirit weak men became the most powerful men in the world and they witness their master through out their life. I am dreaming the real witness of Jesus from the participants in the coming years, so let’s start a Jesus centered life to become a real Jesus Youth. God wishes to give more than our dreams only thing we wants to do is just listen His voice and obey His commandments. After the program I visited some of the labour camps it was amazing to watch the spirit of youth in Jesus. One thing I noticed in one of the camps was a youth initiated to start a rosary in their camp that never participated even a family prayer at home. In another camp a Hindu youth realized the peace and happiness of Jesus and ready to witness his savior. I believe the fruit of the program ‘Nadhane Virunnu’ is coming with lots of treasure in the near future to the church. Robinson (Kuwait Service Team Member)
