Everyone knew that the Lord had brought them to this strange land with some specific purpose. Even though the climate, culture, rules and regulation sometimes limited the activities, it did not however affect the Jesus Youth life style and zeal for Christ. In the early stages, many a times it was even hard to form cell groups. JY’s had to face a lot of obstacles, but the Spirit of the Lord helped them tackle every situation, and He guided and strengthened them through regular prayer and intercession. Help came from many quarters. The Lord sent messengers like Fr. Fio who helped the Jesus Youth in Kuwait get a real vision and sense of mission for establishing the Kingdom of God in Kuwait. Also many Jesus Youth from Kerala, Mangalore, Delhi and Mumbai started arriving in Kuwait, which by the grace of the Lord, they did get. Slowly cell groups began to form in most parts of Kuwait. Now the JY community has expanded to more than 1000 members spread over all regions of Kuwait. Infrastructure ; All the activities of the Jesus Youth in Kuwait are under the strict guidance and knowledge of the vicariate Apostle of Kuwait, Bishop Camillo Baleno.,who also appointed Fr.Joseph Elappulavan as our yoth animator The JY group activities in each parish is monitored by a core group and the activities in the national level are monitored by the Jesus youth National service Team (JYNST)
